On December 1, the recognized Strauss Festival Orchestra of Vienna is to present My life is love and lust concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The repertoire includes pieces by the worldwide renowned Austrian composer Johann Strauss, also recognized as ‘the King of Waltz’, as well as a number of classic Viennese composers like Johann Strauss I, Carl Michael Ziehrer, Robert Stolz, Emmerich Kálmán, Luigi Arditi, Joseph Strauss, Eduard Strauss and Franz Lehar.
The Orchestra’s founder and artistic director Peter Guth, loyal to Strauss’ traditions, is to combine conducting with violin performance.

A noteworthy detail is that this is the second concert by the Vienna Strauss Festival Orchestra at the Heydar Aliyev Center. The Orchestra’s maiden performance at the Center back in 2014 was a true success and a memorable event for the audience.
The Strauss Festival Orchestra is the guardian of Vienna’s musical traditions and one of Europe’s leading orchestras. Operating as of 1978, it is now Vienna’s official orchestra inaugurating the city’s famous annual Ball Festival on January 1 each year.
